The Colours of Evergreen
Princess Charlotte loved to dance. Her steps were as light as butterfly wings, and she twirled and leaped with pure joy. But her world, the Kingdom of Evergreen, was filled with gray. The castle walls were slate, the cobblestone streets were stone, and even the clothes everyone wore were shades of charcoal.
One day, while dancing in the royal gardens, she saw a flash of light. A small, shimmering being with wings like stained glass fluttered before her. "I am Pip, a rainbow fairy," the creature chirped. "I've come to help bring color back to your world."
Charlotte's eyes, framed by her short brown hair and bangs, widened. "How?" she asked, her voice full of hope.
"Simple!" Pip replied, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "You dance, and I'll follow. Every step you take will create a trail of light."
Charlotte smiled, a radiant, happy smile. She took a step, and a perfect arc of red light appeared on the gray ground. She spun, and an orange circle shimmered. She twirled, and a bright yellow ribbon of light followed her. As she danced through the kingdom, the streets transformed. The gray walls became canvases for the colors of the rainbow. Children ran out of their houses, their eyes wide with wonder, and they started to dance with the princess.
The people of Evergreen began to see the world in a new way. They painted their homes with blues and purples. They sewed clothes in every color imaginable. The somber, gray kingdom became a vibrant, joyful place, all because a princess with short brown hair and bangs danced and a rainbow fairy followed. From that day on, wherever Princess Charlotte went, a trail of beautiful rainbows followed, reminding everyone that even the grayest of days can be filled with color and happiness.
